N°48 Acne Mask Strong

The base of this mask is the freshwater sponge, containing a treasure trove of valuable ingredients that provide the unique qualities of our product. For instance, biogenic silica (silicon oxide) is said to improve circulation, while spongin (collagen protein) can help improve skin elasticity and reduce inflammation. This mask is easy to use, very efficient and contains only natural ingredients. The black colour is derived from a natural sorbent – charcoal – which, along with white clay, delicately cleanses and detoxifies the skin, while the finely ground oat grains soothe the skin, preventing irritation and dehydration.

The Powder: Spongilla Lacustris Spicule Extract, Kaolin, Avena Sativa Kernel Flour, Charcoal Powder

The Activator: Aqua, Hydrogen Peroxide

Usage

Always combine The Powder and The Activator. Use in the evening. Mix two heaped teaspoons of The Powder in a glass bowl with two and a half teaspoons of The Activator. Stir well, then apply immediately to cleansed, dry skin, avoiding the eye and lip areas. Let it dry completely and rub off with a cotton pad. Do not rinse or apply other products afterwards. In the morning, cleanse your face as usual. Temporary redness (4–8 hours) and a prickling sensation may occur.

The appearance of this mask in our collection dates back to August 1914 – the beginning of World War I. It was used to deal with oedema, bruises, and abrasions of wounded soldiers, and accordingly, it is excellent for acne-prone skin.
